She was born in 2017. Named after Leslie’s grandmothers, Lillian and Ruth Alyce, who did not live to see the store, yet feel so deeply woven into its purpose. And for native Knoxvillians, you’ll recognize her sister’s keeper, Wedding Wonderland: the store’s name for half a century before she became Lillian Ruth Bride.
Now, she’s bridal couture woven with a down-to-earth, relaxed atmosphere, polished with expert knowledge and stylists who care: it’s the magic mix in our eyes, and it’s what we’re honored to do. We’re lucky to feel so rooted in a city that embraces local, family-run businesses. It’s who we’ll always be + how we show up best for our brides.

She’d fallen in love with the magic that happens when a bride feels truly seen, celebrated, and beautiful—and she couldn’t imagine doing anything else. But over time, she felt a quiet pull toward something more. A calling to come home to Knoxville. A desire to create something that didn’t yet exist in East Tennessee: a bridal experience that felt both deeply personal and impeccably styled.
So, with a heart full of vision (and wallpaper samples in hand), she returned to Knoxville with her husband Corey to build the boutique she had always dreamed of—one where fine fabrics, thoughtful design, and warm, expert service come together under one roof. A space where every bride is welcomed like family, and guided with the kind of care that makes her feel not only beautiful, but truly at ease.
This boutique is Leslie’s labor of love. It’s where her passion for elevated bridal and meaningful service meet, and it’s her joy to bring that experience to brides every single day. Because yes, it’s about the dress—but more than that, it’s about the memories you’ll make in it, and the way you felt when you found it.
Leslie and Corey married in Nashville in 2016. When not at LRB, you can find them at home in Farragut with their two kids, Connor and Claire, and their two dogs, Nora and Ranger.
